More understanding about PCNE when I am leaving

The last day of Ada and me

Time flies. It is the time to say goodbye to PCNE. I have worked as a part-time intern for 3 months here.  During the 3 months, I fulfilled my dream to work for Phoenix TV station since childhood.

Working in the PCNE is totally different from what I thought. First of all, there are not many emplyees in the company based in London. There are around 30-35 people in the office. However, all the TV news from UK are produced here. I am so proud of it. Secondly, I realised that PCNE cannot offer the working visa. This means that I definitely can  not work here in the future. Thirdly, Phoenix TV station are recruiting people in Shanghai. This is a good news for me, as Shanghai is my hometown.

However, after 3 months work, I start to doubt that whether I really want to work in the Phoenix TV station. To work here, it means that I have to sacrifice lots of my free time and work for a long time. As most work in cultural industries, it is also low pay. Another thing is the office in Shanghai is small, there are only about 20 people there.

I might to rethink again about my career path and give myself more choices.
