Things I learnt in first week

From this week, I start to work at Phoenix TV station. I work two days per week, from 10 am to 6pm. In the first week, the previous intern, Mengyi, told me all routine work: making the cover of TV programmes, editing video, uploading video, doing timetable of TV programme, posting new articles and news on Facebook and Sina weibo, etc. Because Mengyi will leave her work next week, I have to bear all things in mind. During two days working, I learnt something I think is very important I think for my work and study.

Things I learnt in first week:
1.     Efficiency is No.1
I have many work every day, if I cannot finish my tasks, I have to do it at home. Furthermore, I am working in a team, doing things slowing will influence other people’s efficiency.

2.     Never be late
Working in an office, There is no excuse for being late. It takes me half past an hour by train to the working placetherefore I have to get up before 7.30 am on working days.

3.     Be patient and careful
Many works are routine and basic. It is not very difficult but I have to be very patient and careful. For example, every time before I editing a new clip, I have to set the video size at full size. If I forget this, the video exported will be in a wrong size. If I made spelling mistakes on programme name, the video will not show on the website.
