A second interview for News Department at Phoenix CNE

I received an email last night from HR at Phoenix for a second interview for news department today.  I was almost 1hour earlier arrived for the interview this time as I want to prepare well and show my respect to this internship.

The manager of news department did not ask me many questions about my previous working experiences as all my working experiences are irrelevant to news. However, my education background is media and I had courses of news writing. Furthermore, I have an international background which caught her eye-----I have been to many countries and had an exchange programme in Berlin etc. As Phoenix focuses on international news, they are looking for workers who has international background and strong journalism knowledge.

She asked me where I live ( because the TV station is at Richmond, which is not very convenient), whether I am capable to use final cut and my English level. I think all my condition satisfied her. I live near waterloo railway station, therefore I can catch a train to work. It costs only 25 minutes. I am good at editing video clips and my IELTS are listening 7, reading 8, writing 6, speaking7 and overall 7.

After the interview, Miss Li told me that I have to wait for further information because she has to discuss with the managers from both human resources and marketing department. I really hope to get this intern position.
